This is AMT 1995 Toyota Supra kit #31980, Fast and Furious

This model was built mainly from the box.

Interior: Seats & dash were painted using Humbrol "satin" black enamel, door panels were done in "satin" grey & black enamel, the floor was flocked, [dark grey].

Body: After cutting out the air-vent holes in the hood, the body, hood and rear wing were prepared for spraying in the usual way.

Then the lot including the floor pan were airbrushed using a "custom mixed" metalic charcoal enamel, (3 coats, wet'n'dry sanding between coats). Then 2 coats of clear. Tha wing was painted "satin" black.

The holes that were cut in the hood were covered from the underside with a fine black mesh, as was the radiator opening.

Motor: Out of the box, I painted a black wash on all the engine chrome, then wiped off the excess after drying.

Wheels & Tyres: Also from the box, the rims were treated with a black wash as well, the tyres were lightly sanded.
