This is "Tamiya's" Morris Mini Cooper 1275S rally

I built this kit pretty much from the box with only a few alterations.

Body: Sprayed with 2 coats of a custom mixed dark green enamel, to replicate a British Racing Green, then masked off and the Rally stripes were sprayed on using a yellow enamel. after sanding/smoothing I applied 2 coats of "Boyds" clear enamel. Then "Bare Metal Foil" was applied. The front and rear bumpers are from nother kit.

The wipers, door handles, fuel filler caps were sprayed with "Alclad 11" chrome.

Engine: The motor was wired using a scratch built distributor, the air cleaners are from another kit.

Interior: Was painted with a black satin enamel and the seats were painted with a dark grey satin enamel.

Wheels & Tires: Are from the kit, the wheels were sprayed with "Model Master" Stainless Steel, then buffed.
