The Land of The Midnight Sun

Where you will see igloos, skilled tradesmen, dense evergreen forests and vast expances of barren tundra. Where Caribou out number people, and the prehistoric muskox still roam, Northern lights dancing over world class rivers and some of the largest lakes in the world. The Northwest Territories occupies the top third of Canada and stretches from the 60th parallel to the true North Pole.  N.W.T. is a land of challenge, where developing peoples like the Dene and Inuit come to terms with the twentieth century. The territories are changing but even so their special character has been preserved.
