back to the old drawing board...
dont guess I'll ever learn,
you can try, but you just can not know..
just how things will turn.

I didn't think I'd lose out,
in a win-win situation,
we were better off without one another
but I still want to be together.

I thought I wanted to roam
thought I could have it all
darn...guess I thought wrong..
that is not what I want at all

now I've done gone and screwed it all up
but I guess it's for the better
I must try to move on and start anew
though I know I wont forget her

well, love...you're out there somewhere
and I hope you read these words
for we may have moved on, but still your voice
is the sweetest I ever heard
