offers a choice of completely wheelchair accessible accommodations
at their 4-star luxury homes in Orlando,
Florida--home of Disney World, Universal Studios and
Sea
World. All of the homes are beautifully furnished and professionally
decorated. They are located in six upscale communities: Westridge,
Hampton Lakes, Hampton Reserve, Esprit,
Royal Palms and
Aylesbury.

Medical equipment can be rented when you check in. or it can be ordered in advance. Every home has a heated, screened-in swimming pool, and rental lift equipment is available. A world-class medical facility is located in nearby Celebration.
Four years ago, Walter Bernstein, a disabled Viet Nam Veteran,
and his wife, Yvonne, bought a vacation home in a
nice subdivision in Orlando and modified the home before renting it to disabled vacationers. Now, they have 50 rental homes, just 10 minutes away from Walt Disney
World, and they have almost completed 17 additional wheelchair accessible
vacation villas. This means roll-in showers, wide doors, ramps at all entrances, low counters, and, of course, grab bars
in all of the necessary places. The first round of these new modified homes
will open in February 2001 and more will follow shortly. A 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom, fully modified
