Because there are so many talented people out there, doing so many creative and impressive things, Romantic Notions has dedicated an area of the Spotlight Playhouse to outstanding artists of all types... whether their muse inspires them to make art, form music, or combine words, these featured artists and their works are sure to impress.
Michelle Southern
~ Our Featured Musician ~
With a small baby at home and several projects always on the go, Michelle Southern has created a work of art with her latest CD, "Dark Orchid". Michelle's most recent musical offering is an album of classical songscapes. Listen to her music in RealAudio, mp3, read the stories behind the songs, find out more about her, and then send a few words to her by email, the feedback form, or via the corkboard.
Lisanne, a cop with a poet's heart, is incredibly talented as well as stunningly beautiful. She's written touching and soul-baring poetry which seems to come so naturally to her... she is never at a loss for words, and can write astounding poetry or prose in a heartbeat. Read a few of Lisanne's works here, and learn more about her... then feel free to send a few words to her by email, or share your thoughts by filling out the feedback form.
Ruth is a fellow member of "Ladies of the Heart" and a Canadian living near Victoria, BC. A few of her recent artworks are featured on the Romantic Notions card shoppe. She paints beautiful scenery, flowers, houses... step inside for a whisper of romance on canvas.
Julie Richman
~ Our Featured Artist ~
Julie is a Community Leader here in Paris, and a wonderful one at that. She's an abstract artist who specializes in "Art of the Imagination" - sketches, watercolours, and Trnava paintings. Her site here at GeoCities has won the prestigious Lunar award, and features her artwork and some very unique things she's done with it. A grandmother, a wife, an artist, a friend... Julie is one of those people whose heart, mind, and beauty can never forgotten.
