a Poem...to Jeremiah
...One soul |One Life |One Breath | A Whisper | A Prayer | Hope |
The Body | The Heart | These Hands | My Soul | My Love |
Fall short of Grace | Without a Friend | Without | The Mind...

A kindred soul, burning the brightest flame...touching the lives of everyone who knew him...leaving a thirst in my soul, and quenching all those that came before.

..."Run through the fields of tomorrow. Know there is no bitter end. I will wake on the sunrise, and kiss away your fear. In the grasses, in the sky...don't forget me, memories I will not shed. Close your eyes and hear me, in the wind that runs through your hair... in song of your heart"...Jeremiah Montgomery Duncan (1975-1996).

When you meet someone that has the ability to move your soul...
and you don't know just why. And they hold the key to untold
emotions...and you don't know why. And you feel them in your
breath and at your side...good times and bad....that is when you
know you have a friend. And you come to terms with the fact that
you don't know why....you don't know everything....

This page...as well as a great part of my life and heart...is dedicated to not only the fight for LIFE...but the STRENGTH of friendship...giving hope that generations to come will speak of this disease in the past tense...and keep their eyes on the future knowing that we did not go quietly into the night.

time for change
