Not You

              Lonely motel nights
              without you.
              Looking for someone new,
              someone true.
              Lonely motel morning
              slowly comes.
              Needed satisfaction
              and got some.
              But I'm lonely
though she still lies here beside me,
              lies so near
Though I feel her warm, nice body,
though I'm tickled by her hair.

She's only a one night distraction
              from reality, being without you
in the long run she won't do
                                            she's not you

              I remember her breathless whisper
when we lay silenced by the night
"Man, you really know what to do,
wanna stay all night with you"
              But she won't do
                     she's not you
