Solitude Within

With a handful of chocolate
and a bottle of wine.
Leaving,
Going - naked and blind -
into my dark icelandscape,
to become lost forever
in the solitude within.

I'm an aged child
crying and confused,
with a handful of chocolate
and a bottle of wine

Life ain't treating me good
so I don't cherish it any more.

Maybe it's because I was a happy baby,
the joy of my mother's heart.
And life became jealous
and since then tears me apart.

Why shall I cherish
something that harms me?
Why not just walk away,
with a handful of chocolate
and a bottle of wine
to
the solitude within?
