Cover of the book 'VIRUS' by Richard Preston :
1967. An unknown virus killed many men and women in Marbourg, a town in the north of Germany.
The victims were working in a factory which was importing monkeys from Africa and was manufacturing
vaccines.
1976. Whole towns of South Soudan were decimated by the same illness.
The same year, a whole province of Zaïre is, next turn, struck. The illness is reaching the capital, Kinshasa.
1980. A French working in Kenya contracted the virus and died at the Nairobi hospital.
This unknown disease wears a name, EBOLA.
Robert Preston, in a narrative which you can read like a true scientific thriller, depicts the crushing offensives
of this virus, escaped from the depths of the equatorial forest and which has failled, in 1989 and then again in 1990,
to ravage the suburbs of Washington. A true apocalyptic script which was near to become reality.
We are now inviting you to enter this place where human species is in danger, but where you can find
information about those killer viruses :
.... a P4 laboratory ....
to remain CALM !!!
