Brevard, for 18 months. He was 24 years old, five feet 8 inches tall with black hair and blue eyes. A road jury appointed at the April 1786 session of court for Rutherford County, North Carolina included Thomas and William McSwain. On 28 February 1791 Thomas McSwain witnessed a deed in Rutherford County, North Carolina for David Gage to Samuel Lum. A deed was issued 23 November 1791 to Thomas McSwain by William Parker 28 October 1779, Book 79, pg. 414.
