Actor BRIAN KEITH blew his brains out with a shotgun, because he was so miserable from LUNG Cancer. He was very talented, rich and famous, but in the end he knew the aweful truth of tobacco road. TOBACCO ROAD IS WORSE THAN BLOOD ALLEY, AND TOBACCO ROAD IS A LONELY WAY UNTO AN EARLY GRAVE. IT USED TO BE THE RAVE, TO BE SEEN PUFFING UPON A CIGARETTE, PIPE OR CIGAR, BUT NOW IT'S LOOKED ON WITH DISGUST. Actor JOHN WAYNE, smoker. He died of LUNG CANCER. He was a four pack a day addict, and he quit smoking cold turkey after the first lung was removed, but later on down old tobacco road, resumned his smoking, and alas, cancer came back to kill him. If he were still alive, he would tell everyone to stop smoking. I recall OLD GOLD along Tobacco Road when I was six, but alas the smoke made my lungs feel sick, and so I discontinued the deadly practice when but a child. Tobacco Road is a lonely old road, with white crosses everywhere for the smoker to visualize, and where things upon this earth are finalized way too quickly. And smoke still gets in my eyes as I cry for them, those one's that didn't believe they were killing themselves too soon neath the sullen moon.
