This page is presented to you to view some more of the models I have worked with at various times either on location or in a studio setting.  I have extensive experience working with models, and in particular new models just getting into the field.  I try to tailor every shoot to the individual model, studying body type, any special features, and a number of other factors before I start to shoot film.    I  have found that by taking the time to do this before shooting I get better results during the actual shoot, make the experience much more enjoyable for my models, and, ultimately, use my time more productively and efficiently.



This first composite is a presentation of some of the more conventional shoots I have done for the various models included.   Some of these sessions were commissioned by the models themselves for pieces for their individual portfolios, some were for commercial uses, and some were self-assignments I inspired for various projects I have at one time or another become involved in.    



  I also like to experiment with the use of various special effects..... generated either in the studio at the time of the shoot or in the darkroom.  Of course now the darkroom is no longer restrained to the old idea of an actual pitch black room with an enlarger, paper, and various chemical baths in it.  With the advent of computers, strong graphics programs, and electronic imaging, a lot of the manipulations that once took hours worth of time and labor in the dark can now be achieved in the comfort of a lighted room, away from some very caustic chemicals and obnoxious odors, and much more inexpensively than the "old" trial-and-error method of conventional photography.  There is still a place for conventional photography in the world, but more and more of the mundane tasks that once were considered hard work are now accomplished with ease, using the computer.
