This azure dawn resplendent in its gold 
Wakes up our world, its wonders to behold 
The buds unfurl each day, the sun to kiss 
Sweet songbirds trill in dawn to witness this. 
Bright flowers, sweet song and glorious morning sun 
The day's unfolding story has begun. 

This living canvas, fragile beauty wrought, 
Is captured in the essence of our thought 
Remembering each vision, thats a gift 
Because each dawning's passing is so swift. 
Of all the precious gems that can enthral 
I treasure fleeting moments most of all.

If you feed it, 
                 it will grow 

Puppies or kittens 
Daisies, persimmons 
Prancing and playing 
Swinging and swaying 

Love is a seed 
                    planted with a deed 

Senseless acts of kindness 
Beauty that isn't mindless 
Happiness and contentment 
Joy and fulfillment 

Fear and hate 
                 yes, these will grow 

From a vengeful word 
Darkness is lured 
Sadness and depression 
Anger and aggression 

If  you feed it 
                  it will grow 

The choice is yours and mine 
And we choose all the time 
A world of fear or a world of love 

Seeping from below or shining from above

What if you existed before your body was born 
What if you will exist after this body is torn 

What if the you that exists today is two 
           A mindful body that wants to do 
                                           what it wants to do 
And a spirited soul that makes up the two 

What if the real you is the soul that was and will be 
 But your mindful body is cluttered with me, Me, ME 
         And you had to squint and search to see 
               The truth 
                         the light 
                                 the answer 
                                         the key 

Would you hear whispers of hints and clues 
Perhaps coming in the form of a muse 
And would it all sound like a wild ruse 
Since it had nothing to do with today's news

An Angel Today 

I think I saw an Angel today 
Spreading Love as Angels do 
And I so much wanted to say 
From all of us, we thank you 

But then a thought hit me between the eyes 
Perhaps the Angels are you and me 
Armed with gifts, talents, passions, prizes 
Here on missions of mercy 

Our purpose is to spread joy and cheer 
Maybe just a small act or deed 
Bringing forth Love and replacing fear 
Knowing it's the soul we feed 

We can enrich a life 
With an encouraging word or two 
We can reduce some strife 
If that's what we choose to do 

Spread around some smiles today 
Not because you should, but because you can 
Choose to be an Angel today 
And be a part of the master plan

People are unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered 
                                                                          LOVE THEM ANYWAY 

If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives

If you are successful, you win false friends and true enemies 
                                                                          SUCCEED ANYWAY 

The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow 
                                                                          DO GOOD TODAY ANYWAY 

Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable 
                                                                          BE HONEST AND FRANK ANYWAY 

What you spent years building may be destroyed overnight 
                                                                          BUILD ANYWAY 

People really need help but may attack you if you help them 
                                                                          HELP PEOPLE ANYWAY 

Give the world the best you have and you´ll get kicked in the teeth 
 

                                                  GIVE THE WORLD THE BEST YOU´VE GOT ANYWAY.
