a dance company prepares...

For the past couple of years, Natalia Monteleón's
company Arte Flamenco has performed at the Washington
Folk Festival at Glen Echo Park. I had the
pleasure of working with her company for this show.

Shortly after arriving at the Arte Flamenco
dance studio, guitarist Ramin warms up his hands,
while I take the liberty of taking a few photos (Notice
the neck of my guitar in the foreground).

Director Natalia Monteleón works out a rhythm.

Julia, Marta, Lori and Karina work out the
group choreography.

Ramin, dancer Edwin Aparicio and Natalia provide
palmas for the dancers.
