Miguel Poveda

One of my favorite flamenco guitarists, El Chicuelo, plays on most of the tracks. Lots of good selections on this CD. I like the tangos (track 2) and the bulerías a palo seco (track 3)--that's without guitar! It's great for playing along and pretending to accompany Miguel's cante. There are also some selections accompanied by piano by Joan Alberto Amargos--very well done!

This is a recording of a live concert together with the Losada brothers on guitar and cajón and Paco Peña's flamenco dance company. Singers include La Piconera, Angel Gabarre, and Antonio Reyes. This is a must have for those guitarristas that need a recording of flamenco dance accompaniment for learning examples and inspiration.
