We may not know them, or their family or friends, but none the less we share
their pain and agony over this evil, terrorist act that has violated us all.
Or sadly, we may know them, and love them, and our lives will never be the
same again. They were Grandparents, Mothers, Fathers, Husbands, Wives,
Fiancées, Sisters, Brothers, Aunts, Uncles, Daughters, Sons, Nieces, Nephews,
Cousins, and Friends.
Perhaps they were on an airplane, headed away on business, a needed vacation,
or maybe they were simply heading home. Perhaps they were at work,
beginning a typical weekday. Maybe they were tourists, ready to explore one of America's great landmarks.
Or maybe they were on duty serving the public in the horrific aftermath ....
firemen, medical personnel, or policemen, trying to save the lives left in the rubble.
Whoever they were we remember them, and dedicate this web page in their honor.
For every family member, colleague, and friend, we realize they are only words,
but we hope you find some comfort viewing the guest book here.
There are millions of people, the whole world over,
who are silently standing with you in support, shedding tears of grief, sharing in your disbelief and denial,
seething with anger, and feeling the heaviness in their heart.
We pray that one day you may sort through the aftermath and find some sort of
peace in your heart again. That your soul will be a little lighter.
And that you will once again be able to smile. We know it's a long road to any
of those places but we will all bond together and muster the strength
to help you each step of the way.
This page is also an honor and tribute to the American spirit which is NOT,
and WILL NOT be broken by a faceless, cowardly act.
We pray that this great country of ours will stand together,
proud and tall, with an unshakable faith in each other, our land, and our freedom.
If tomorrow all the things were gone I'd worked for all my life,
And I had to start again with just my children and my wife,
I'd thank my lucky stars to be living here today,
'Cause the flag still stands for freedom and they can't take that away.
I'm proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free,
And I won't forget the men who died who gave that right to me,
And I gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today,
Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land
God Bless the U.S.A.
From the lakes of Minnesota to the hills of Tennessee
Across the plains of Texas from sea to shining sea.
From Detroit down to Houston and New York to L.A.,
There's pride in every American heart and it's time we stand and say:
I'm proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free,
And I won't forget the men who died who gave that right to me,
And I gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today,
'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land
God Bless the U.S.A.
