Dymitri the jester was bouncing his merry way along the woods.  When he 
came to a strange cloaked figure.  With a cheerful hello, and a bounciful hop a 
conversation between the two began.  The strange cloaked figure knew somehow 
that Dymitri was very bored, and a little hungry too.  He told Dymitri that 
there was a place filled with amusement and excitement.  Dymitri literally 
jumped at the chance of this new enlightenment.  The cloak figure said all he 
had to do was hop on his back, and he would take him there.  With a look of  
“your queer of on his face” Dymitri was hesitant at first, but than said why 
don’t you jump on my back and direct me to the way.  The strange cowled figure 
seemed a little bit frustrated at this point, and Dymitri decided to humor the 
“fool”.  With several bounces around the cloak figure Dymitri jumped on the 
cloaked figure’s back, and  wisked away to a dark cavern.  
	Looking around the cavern seemed hard at first, but a torch in the distant 
could be seen.  Dymitri decided to go “investigate” the light, but before he had 
the chance something caught his eye.  He looked down to discover a strange 
looking buckle.  Scared to pick it up right away he bounced around it and 
examined it.  After a couple of minutes “examine it” he decided to pick it up.  
He heard a female voice in the distant, and he thought it would be fun to mimic 
the voice.  Also he new that it would bring amusement to all that heard it, and 
to himself of course.  Well, the joke didn’t quite go the way as he planned it 
because the the figure began to come towards him in a very very quickly manner.
	Standing there giggling amongst himself he watched the torch (now torches) 
approach him.  The person the looked like the leader of the party waved the 
torch to cast the light upon Dymitri.  With this act Dymitri could see that the 
leader was a female Drow.  The first words from her mouth was “This is all we 
need now!”  Dymitri felt like he was needed when he heard this.  With a quick 
motion she put what seemed to be a arm band on him, and she walked away.  Seeing 
that this lovely person needed some cheer in her life he began to follow her, 
and began to juggle balls in the air.  After awhile of this, it seemed to him 
that it was not working.  So he tried some more impressions of her, and this 
really really didn’t work to his surprise.  With a look of  “I am going to kill 
you if you don’t leave me alone” Dymitri thought it might be a good idea to try 
to cheer up the mass of people behind her.  Some people laughed, and some just 
fingered there weapons as the stared at Dymitri.
	Dymintri began to think the strange cloaked figure played a joke on him.  
He thought to himself  “Hmmm. this doesn’t seem very fun or exciting” , that was 
not until he saw some other people.  He saw a not so merry Halfing, a run of the 
mill grumpy Dwarf, a strange looking human who was painted like some kind of 
cat, a Ranger, a Rogue looking figure, and a goofy swashbuckler in a funny 
looking hat.  He talked to the Halfing and Dwarf first (mostly because they 
seemed to be traveling together).  Dymitri introduced himself, and found the 
name of the Dwarf was Ghim, and the Halfing, well, the halfing just flashed a 
knife.  Dymitri took this a symbolic meaning for his name, and was on his way to 
the next interesting looking person.  Now if anyone looked interesting, it was 
the person painted as a cat.  Dymitri bounce merrily over towards him, and began 
to entertain him.  Dymitri introduced himself, and the “Cat Man” said his name 
was Cuervo.  Cuervo was from a far away place that Dymitri never really heard 
of.  He liked Cuervo better than the first two he met because he was willing to 
talk.  The other two just ignored the questions Dymitri asked, but Cuervo seemed 
like he was a sociable person.  After what seemed like hours the conversation 
became boring to Dymitri, and he left Cuervo to talked to the Ranger.  One look 
at the Ranger, and Dymitri knew she was no fun.  So he decided to try to talk to 
that Drow again.  
	By this time, it seemed that the Drow was in a better mood.  Dymitri 
introduce himself, and asked for her name.  The female Drow’s name was Zestra, 
and she held the title of  “Leader of the Blades”.  She told Dymitri what it 
meant to be a “Blade,” and of all the benefits.  The Blades of Waterdeep were 
the first and last line of defense for Waterdeep.  It was there job to fight all 
of Waterdeep’s foes.  Dymitri thought himself “not this seems very interesting.”  
	The group came up to a series of doors.  Zestra “the leader” didn’t know 
what door to pick, and Dymitri asked the door if it could tell him.  
Surprisingly said yes I do.  Shocked and amazed that the door could talk he 
struck up a conversation with the door.  Zestra, who always seemed in a rush, 
asked the door which was the way out.  The door replied well if you go though 
me, that will take you out.  So Zestra began to lead the group out, but Dymitri 
decided to stay for awhile.  He asked the door if he could tell him what the 
item was that Dymitri found in the cavern.  The door wasn’t quite sure, and a 
figure stepped from the shadows and asked to see the item.  Dymitri was hesitant 
at first, but gave the item to the person.  The person stated that it was his, 
and tried to take it.  Dymitri was enrage at this act of thievery that he pulled 
both of his weapons, and was willing to fight for possession of the item.  There 
would have been a fight, but the Jaguar Knight stepped in.  Seeing that there 
was now two against one.  The figure decide it was in his best interest to give 
up his claim, and he returned it.
	The group came up to a long  corridor filled with doors, and once again 
the leader didn’t know the way.  Dymitri notice that the Dwarf and Halfing 
sneaked off though a door.  Dymitri brought this to Zestra’s attention, and the 
party went after them.  A loud women’s voice was heard, and the party headed for 
that direction.  As they came up to the scene a door was wide open, and there 
were two people in bed.  They didn’t look to happy either.  Looking up the 
corridor.  Dymitri and the group saw what looked like the city’s guard.  
Dymitri, who was kind of proud that he was a blade now, was willing to offer his 
services to these men, but soon discovered that these men wanted to arrest the 
party including him.
	The party “consisting of:  Zestra, Bonar the swashbuckler, a ranger, 
Cuervo the Jaguar Knight, Cash, and Dymitri.  The group was carted off to jail, 
and were to wait for their trial.  Dymitri asked Zestra what the hell was going 
on.  Zestra didn’t know what was going on, and couldn’t give  a reply.  So 
Dymitri decided to cheer up the jailer.  The jailer found Dymitri humorous.  
Dymitri notice that the guards must have forgotten about his knife so he handed 
it over to the nice jailer.  Dymitri was awaken by Zestra, and his shackles were 
off.  Apparently Cash was a some sort of locksmith or something.  The party 
needed to get out of the area and quick.  As they were about to leave through 
the door the strange cowled figure appeared.  He chastised Zestra for her ways, 
and somehow had all the equipment that was taken from the party.
	Zestra had an idea to get the group to safety, but first they had to get 
back to Cold Comfort.  The group came up to the door of  Cold Comfort, and a big 
burly black man came to the door.  For some  reason he wasn’t willing to let the 
group in.  He referred to Zestra as the “Black Bitch.”  The group was getting 
nowhere, and Zestra decide to go through the back way.  Surprisingly the Halfing 
and the Dwarf showed up at Cold Comfort.  Well the bad part was that the group 
had to scale down the face of the cliff.  After a almost death of a couple of 
the pary members the group made it to the cavern.  
 The group proceed into the cavern when all of the suddenly they were attacked 
by spiders.  The group manage to fight off the spiders with a glint of ease, but 
the Ranger didn’t seem to manage to do quite as well.  She was horribly killed 
by the spiders.  The group said a couple of prayers and were on their way.  
	The group came upon a clearing, and there in the clearing was two big 
metallic dragonflies.  The group began to approach until the leader dropped like 
a sack of potatoes.  Everyone was on guard as they heard Zestra’s body hit the 
ground.  The creature was gone, but all of the suddenly the creature attacked 
again.  Party members were being slowly chewed up until the Jaguar Knight and 
the Swashbuckler manage to finish it off.
	Zestra was in bad shape.  The party didn’t know quite what to do.  That 
was until the Jaguar Knight found a vial on the ground.  He motioned to pour it 
down her throat, but Cash wouldn’t let him.  So the party got into a fight over 
if  they should use the vial or not.  Well Dymitri was getting bored.  So he 
decided to explore the dragonfly.  As he climbed the latter of the “giant bug”  
he notice a seat with a well beside it and a cool looking hat.  So he decided to 
put it on, and that action changed the jester like you wouldn’t have believed 
could happen.  The silliness was now dead, and the jester was no more.  Dymitri 
was now  incredibly smart, and now some what of a bore.  
	Dymitri came out to check on his friends, and he notice that they must 
have used the vial for Zestra was up.  The group was surprise to find that the 
fun loving jester was not like himself now.  Dymitri began to discard items from 
his pouches, and the strange cowled figure picked up the deck of cards that were 
discarded, and asked if anyone care to pull from the deck.  The group pulled 
from it, and some wonderfull things happend.  When Zestra pulled from it, the 
group would be changed forever.
