    Autumn Nights Wings

The perfect place for me tonight
      Is upon autumn nights wings

Upon a billow of a moonlit cloud
I journey to a far and distant place
To look upon the wonder, of Earth's beautiful face

I am borne through God's great creation
And I am listening, as they whisper
Their loving homage, in each of their vespers

The jewels of autumn, glistening from the pure white snow
That is cradled, in the pine trees, like a fancy lady's throw

Up to the majestic, High Mountain walls
The sounds of creation, the echo's recall

The lonely lover's siren, riding on the autumn nights air
The timber wolf is returning his lost loves despair

Over mirrored waters, show's the Moon's reflected light
It washes over me, Bringing contentment and delight

The end of my journey, I can feel its beginnings unfold
For Night is returning creation, Into mornings hands to hold

Autumn night's wings replaces my feet to this Earth
So that I may be a witness to the new days rebirth

So, as I look to horizons new light
I swear to myself, I will help Earth's dire plight

For living on this Earth is a gift to man
To care for it, remains in our hand

      Heaven's Fire

Today I looked into this sky
And it was burning black and red

      Heaven was on fire
For the blood that spilt from his head

It washed down his face like a trail of tears
Bringing nothing but pain and agony

And heaven burned black and red
To show us its heart-wrenching misery

Lightning struck out like a fist
      Hitting everything in sight

Thunder clashed out like the voice
Of the loved ones left behind

The sun was hidden behind blood red skies
It did not shine gladness upon the earth

      For together with the heavens
It burned red as it shed its tears of hurt

      Black is for the mourning
      Red is for the pain

      Never to hear the words
      Of Goodbye again
