This is a complete list of the countries visited by The Greenfields during their long singing career. Whether the group has perfomed in a contest, in a festival, in cabaret, or in concert, it has undoubtedly succeeded in making the Maltese folk song clearly heard, better known and much more appreciated by the various international audiences present. |

The trio articipated in the Castlebar International Song Contest with song 'Johnny Aye O', music by Paul Caruana, and lyrics by Joe Tanti. The Group placed 3rd in the Folk Section of the Contest. The Contest was held at the Royal Ballroom, Castlebar and the group sang in the Folk Section on 8 October and on the Final night on 11 October. |

This was another Tourist campaign for Malta Government Tourist Board. Apart from their singing act, The Greenfields provided live music for Viva Malta's folk dancing during four cabaret performances and also during a spot on NDR TV in Munich on 25 January. The Greenfields on Tour. Toured all around Denmark giving shows in various Dansk Folke-ferie Hotels. In Copenhagen, The Greenfields were given the 'chance' to sing in Tivoli Garden's most famous Folk and Country club The Vise Vers Hus. Such was the reception given that the Management, spontaneously invited the trio to perform again and close the evening. The Greenfields obliged. |

Back in Melbourne the group continued with their programme. 11 September - short spot at Nadur association Ball, Sunshine 12 September - concert at the Dallas Brooks Hall, East Melbourne By special request the group had to return to Sydney 18,19 September - cabaret at Phoenician Club, Sydney. Once again The Greenfields joined forces with the folk dancing group Viva Malta, to perform during a dinner dance, as part of another tourist campaign for the Malta Government Tourist Board in Jugoslavia, just before contiuing our journey to France. |

Participation in XXI Festival International de Folklore de Chateau-Gombert. Eight nationalities taking part in a spectacle of dance, music and song. Performances included stage shows, street defiles and shorter shows during traditional lunches, in variousvillages around Marseilles. |

Partecipation in the Arts Festival during the Commonwealth Games. Once again The Greenfields teamed up with The Viva Malta Folk dancing Group to produce a combined performance of Maltese Folk. Taking part in the Arts Festival were folk groups from all the other competing Commonwealth countries. We performed on the main stage, attended folk seminars, gave talks on Maltese music and also gave an hour's show at Littlewoods in Princess Street |

Partecipation in the festivities organised by the government of Algeria to mark the 25th Anniversary of Independence Teamed up with The Paul Curmi Folk dancing Group to create a spectacleof Maltese folk music, singing and dancing. Taking part in the festivities were folk groups from many other countries. We partecipated along with all the other groups in a defile of song and dance through the streets of Algiers on 3rd July. Then, we performed at the Palais du Sport at El Harrad on 5th July and lastly gave another performance, on the 6th July, in another football stadium in Algiers. We were staying at a luxurious Holiday Complex by the sea in Tipasa Village. |

We were invited by the Windsor and Detroit Maltese clubs to perform for the Maltese community in Canada and in Detroit (USA). Our first cabaret was in Windsor, during a dinner dance on 26th March at the Croatian Hall. Then we were the guests of the late Johnny Catania, on WCAR Radio Our second show was right across the border, at the Maltese club of Detroit itself on the 10th April. We gave an interview on "Mill-Maltin ghall-Maltin" TV show in Toronto with Joe Micallef. Our engagements ended with a standing ovation from the audience present, after our performance, during a dinner dance at the Luna Hall, Toronto on the 16th April. |

Invited by the Soviet Cultural Centre to be part of a 60 strong Maltese contingent to travel to Russia to take part in a Malta Week in Moscow. The group included actors, dancers, classical and folk singers and even Maltese chefs and food! A whole week of activities was prepared. The Greenfields, as a duo, for the first time abroad, had to perform every day for the whole week in a restaurant, specialising in Maltese food, right in the heart of Moscow. |

A small team of chefs, tourist guide Mr Michael Galea, representatives from Fischer Reisen (Malta), and The Greenfields teamed up to produce a Malta Week in Dusseldorf, Germany. The Step-Inn Reisen Cafe was transformed into a typical Maltese restaurant, serving Maltese dishes for three consecutive nights. The guests, journalists and travel agents, were entertained during and after lunch by The Greenfields. This week in Germany was organised by Fischer Reisen of Malta and Dusseldorf. |

On the initiative of Fischer Reisen Malta Ltd, The Greenfields were invited to sing during a tourist promotion campaign in the Ccech Republic. The Conference hall of the hotel was the venue for a presentation on Malta and a half hour singing spot by The Greenfields. The show turned out to be a great success! |

A special dinner dance in honour of the Gozitan Football Champions Nadur Youngsters was held at the Kneeras Golden Pheasant in Astoria on Saturday 2nd December. The Greenfields were invited to perform in cabaret as special guests of the evening. |

On the initiative of Fischer Reisen Malta Ltd, The Greenfields were invited to perform in Slovakia to promote Malta as a holiday resort for people from Slovakia. At the same time this tourist campaign coincided with the opening of the new Fischer Slovakia offices in Bratislava. During this opening, on the 15th March, the duo performed in front of radio, TV cameras, invited guests and the crowd that spontaneously gathered in front of the new premises. In the evening, The Greenfields performed two hours of Maltese folk songs, during a Maltese Gala Dinner at the Primacialom Palace, to the delight of the guests present. |

The Greenfields were invited to perform during a MALTA-Fest held at the popular Johan Strauss hall at the Messecenter in Vienna. This event was organised by Merlin Reiseveranstaltungs for CLUB 50 in collaboration with Frosch Touristik (Malta) Ltd on Saturday, 23rd November. After a promotional multi-media presentation by Mr Ernst Klub, The Greenfields took the stage to perform to a capacity 2000 strong audience consisting mainly of senior citizens. The performance ended with the audience singing along with the duo in Maltese. |

The Greenfields were invited to compere the New Miss Model International 99 competition held at the Noras Beach Hotel in Port Said, Egypt on Saturday, 3 July. Joe presented the whole show in Arabic!!! Entertainment was provided by singers and dancers from Russia, Egypt and of course The Greenfields themselves who sung a few songs in Maltese. |

For the second time in their singing career The Greenfields were invited to perform for the vast Maltese community in Canada. This time the show took place on Saturday, October 16, at the premises of the Malta Band Club in Missisauga. About 300 guests thoroughly enjoyed this evening of Maltese folk singing and the duo left a very good impression there. Joe and Carmen were even promised a return trip to the Club some time in the near future. The event was sponsored by the Canadian branch of the Bank of Valletta. |

The Greenfields took part, alongside other international Folk ensambles, in the 8th Ghadames International Tourism Festival with the theme 'Originality of the Past and Ancient History'. The Greenfields performed a short programme on the opening night, on Monday 13th October and a longer show on Tuesday, 14th October in the main Festival ground in Ghedames. It was interesting to note the big audience participation during The Greenfields' interpretation of a number of Maltese songs due to the similarities of the Arabic and the Maltese languages. |

The Greenfields spent the traditional Maltese feast of Mnarja together with the Maltese community in the UK. The duo were the guests of The Maltese Culture Movement during Mnarja 05 held in London on the 25 June. 09.00 am The Greenfields sang at a morning mass 10.00 am Met the community during the Mnarja Fair held at the City of London School 20.00 pm Performed during a dinner dance held at the Imperial Hotel in Russell Square: a) gave a 45 minute floor show of pure songs in Maltese b) played on stage for a full hour and a half for dancing. This has been an enjoyable experience for the Greenfields, thanks to Mr and Mrs Bernard and Barbara Scerri who made all this happen. |

For the third time in their singing career The Greenfields were invited to perform for the vast Maltese community in Canada. This time the concert and dinner dance took place on Saturday, October 21, at the luxurious Rizzo Banquet Hall, Albion Road, Etobicoke, and the duo were the guests of the Gozo Club of Toronto. The guests present thoroughly enjoyed this evening of Maltese folk singing, and a few country songs. Once again the duo left a very good impression with their professional approach. Joe and Carmen wish to thank Mr and Mrs Tony and Doris Galea for making this visit possible. The event was sponsored by the Canadian branch of the Bank of Valletta. |

For the second time in their singing career The Greenfields were invited to perform for the vast Maltese community in Australia.
The first show was held on SUNDAY, 11 March, at the La Vallette Social Centre in Blacktown, the hub of the Maltese community in NSW. The Greenfields interpreted most of their long-time hits together with some new material, while the show was compared by charismatic Maltese-Australian showman Mr Charles Curmi (Babyface). The following day, The Greenfields took a plane to Melbourne to perform three other dates there. The first two shows were held on FRIDAY 16, and SATURDAY 17 March. The concerts were held at the spacious hall of the Polish Recreation and Convention Center in Albion. The Maltese/Australian audience wwere really in good voice singing along to most of the duo's well known songs. The following day, SUNDAY 18 March The Greenfields performed to yet another packed house at the Maltese Community Center in the heart of the city of Melbourne. This was a memorable lunch-time performance, the audience really liked it!! Straight after the show The Greenfields took a flight back to Sydney. After a week's holiday in Surfer's Paradise, the next performance was sheduled for the 24 MARCH, in Brisbane. The show was held at the Italian Social Club in Brisbane, and attracted a good audience from different parts of Queensland. This first visit to Brisbane by The Greenfields turned to be a very big success indeed. The top-of-the-bill show was set for the 31 MARCH with a cabaret-style show in the luxurious Mandaville Function Center in Horsley Park. The hundred or so special guests were all top business people .... |
