From April of 1937 to July of 1944, Opel produced 82356 3-ton Opel Blitz 3.6-36 and 3.6-36S trucks.

3-ton Blitz 3.6-36 and 3.6-36S (4x2) / (4x4) were produced in 7 main variants:
  • Kfz.31 - heavy ambulance,
  • Kfz.68 - radio or telephone communication van,
  • Kfz.305 - standard truck used mainly by Luftwaffe (127 sub-variants),
  • TLF 15 - fire truck / 2500l tanker,
  • Fliegerkraftfahrspitze - airbase rescue / emergency vehicle,
  • Kfz.385 - airbase fuel tanker,
  • Kesselkraftwagen 2100L - 2100l fuel tanker for ground units.
