I was stationed at Quan Loi just a mortor drop from Cambodia. We used to run "sniffer" missions around the border and when finished we would call in arty to flush out the NVA. Arty was able to hit a few supply dumps while I was there. Glad we all made it
ome. Take care

Great site Mark. Welcome home. My unit moved three or four times while I was there. The only name I remember is Dong Xiui (sp?) pronounced Dong Swy. I've never heard from any of the guys in my unit. I'd love to hear from them. Bobo was my bunk make.
e was from the midwest. Got a Dear John while he was there. Steve McGough was a pal. He was a life guard, I think in New Jersey. Frog and John Wayne are a couple of more nicknames. I don't remember their real names. Hope this rings a bell for someon
out there.

I was at FSB Pace October of 71. My Platoon was the one that had just touched down there when a Cobra was shot down and crashed in the woodline. Rescused that pilot who by the way was the grandson of Eddie Richenbacker the WWI pilot who downed the Red Bar
n. Also was the medic in the recover mission for the huey that was downed the week before. Just recently found out their names and that all four were identified. FSB Pace was most certainly a nasty place. I do remember your 8" and 175's there, my ears sti
l ring. Welcome home to all that served on that miserable piece of earth.

Great Site!!! Welcome Home, Brother. We were so isolated that it's nice to learn what the rest of the Field Artillery was doing elsewhere....Ain't it great to be back in the Land of the Big P.X.???

ambushed. A hot neighborhood!

I served with the 25th Infantry Division "A" Battery 7/11 Field Artillery Tay Ninh, RVN 1968-69. I now have Peripheral Neuropathy (PN), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), high levels of arsenic in my blood & urine (due to agent blue I believe). The VA
just denies all claims except the PTSD, so what else is new. We must unite and fight for our benefits due for the Agent Orange damage done to us all!
