FIRST OF ALL, WHAT IS AN
EAGLEBITE? AN EAGLEBITE IS WHEN SOMEONE ( USUALLY A
CREW CHIEF ) ACCIDENTLY HITS THEIR HEAD OR OTHER BODY
PARTS ON THE F-15. IT'S USUALLY PAINFUL, BUT
YOU GET USED TO IT. TRUST ME, I'VE HAD PLENTY! I PICKED THIS
NAME BECAUSE ANY
OTHER EAGLEKEEPER THAT SEES IT WILL
RECOGNIZE WHO I AM AND WHAT I DO. I
WORK ON AN F-15D,
NICKNAMED " ANIMAL " TAIL #1062. I HAVE MANY PICTURES OF MY JET IN THE TITLE GRAPHICS ABOVE. IT IS
MY FIRST ACTIVE TWO
SEATER AIRCRAFT, UP UNTIL NOW, I'VE ONLY WORKED WITH STATIC
F-15A,B AND ACTIVE C MODELS. I'VE SEEN THE F-15E MODELS AND THEY'RE INPRESSIVE, BUT I THINK I WANT TO STICK WITH THE C AND D MODELS." ANIMAL" IS A
FORMER WING KING
JET, WHICH
MEANS THAT IT WAS THE FAVORITE OF THE GENERAL AT THE
BASE. I WORK WITH THE AIR FORCE
WEAPONS
SCHOOL, HERE AT NELLIS AFB. THE WEAPONS SCHOOL
TEACHES TACTICS TO THE TOP PERCENTAGE OF THE PILOTS IN THE
AIRFORCE, THE TOP GUNS OF THE AIR
FORCE. THAT'S WHY I CALL IT THE "USAF TOP GUN SCHOOL".
WE ALSO HAVE THE RED, GREEN, AND OTHER COLOR FLAGS
EXERCISES AT NELLIS. THE THUNDERBIRDS HOME IS LOCATED
HERE, AND THEY ARE UNDER THE 57th WING'S COMMAND. NELLIS WILL BE THE FIRST BASE IN THE WORLD TO TRAIN PILOTS HOW TO FLY THE F-22 RAPTOR. WHAT IN THE WORLD IS AN F-22? CLICK

Now I'm stationed here at Nellis AFB, and my
supervisor
is Ssgt J. Moffett.I crew at 57AGS/Eagle.I never
thought
that I'd end up in Las Vegas! The strip is really cool, and the weather here is nice, hot and predictable. I stepped up from Airman (AMN; E-2) to Airman First Class (A1C; E-3) on October 17th. Click the above bar to see Las
Vegas weather.

and
which
were two
different programs designed to accomplish the same
goal. Intellution works with Windows, and has a large
amount
of graphics and animations that the operator can use
to run
the program. Modsoft is a more simple, ladder diagram
program that works with DOS. It has a quicker
response time
as compared with Intellution, but has no graphics or
animation besides a blinking ladder diagram.

City, FL. Here, I
learned some critical tasks on actual, flying
aircraft. I
launched, recovered, and serviced, among other things
during my short stay there. The beach is really nice there, and the 8 miles of white sand is a private beach for the military. I was stationed there
