Brad Baldwin, Ed Young, _____, Al Cuellar, Tony Zendejas, McClintock, Stitham
Just getting around to sort out these old photos of our break-up and ship out party in January 1954 at the club on the base.I can’t remember the names of many of the guys but I guess that comes with age. Maybe someone else can identify the guys. I’m smoking a pipe in the photos. I hope it brings some memories back to men at the reunion. I was the one who brought the camera. On the way back to the barracks, Ed Young was feeling no pain and led the charge to knock over all the squadron sign post in front of the barracks. Sorry to hear he has passed on.I am now losing the use of my arms and hands so it is becoming more difficult to do anything. I go to the doctors and they manage to keep the old ( Ed Young, Brad Bladwin ) bones working to some extent, but it’s been a good life so I have no regrets.
Keep up the good work on the squadron as it brings back a very important part of our lives when we were young. It was a time when men were flag wavers and proud of it instead of the wimps we have in todays world
