Here are the pictures of the model I was telling you about. I started it after going to Germany in 2000 and seeing the changes. To avoid loosing good thoughts of the place, I started the model. All the buildings on the flight line were from memory, as they were all gone now. The shops are pretty accurate. The control tower is a little off, but resembles a picture I was given by an ex airman from 48/49 time frame. The planes were of the period also.

About myself. I took basic training in August 52-Nov 52, at Sampson AFB in Geneva NY. Then to Biloxi for airborne radar, Nov. 52-July 53. Arrived at R/M Aug. 53 and was assigned to the 11TC Squadron. Also moved to Dreux FR. with the Group in 55. I was discharged in 56 from McGuire AFB. I worked for GE in Radar/Sonar for the next 37 years. I have 6 kids, 9 grandchildren, and fortunately pretty good health.

I would be quite honored if you put the pictures in your website. Every time I look at the model/pictures it's like going home.
