Honor Guards

Full Service Color Guard

You see them in parades. You see them on television. You see them with government officials and participating in official government events.

But in the most quiet places, you see the Honor Guard perform their most important duty. Honoring our military heroes as they are laid to rest in quiet valor.

I have had the honor of playing Taps at many public events. One can not begin to describe the feeling of honoring our heroes at the time of their internment.

Take a moment to learn a little about what a military funeral is about and the honors that accompany it. Also, please feel free to share any stories you have of an event that you attended that included an Honor Guard.
