Name of Show: HEA March Show
Date of Show: March 3rd
Hosted By: Mathilde Vincent (totalyhorsecrazy@excite.com)
Hosted At: Silver Arabians Stables

The show was great as usual! I've seen lots of grand eventers competing here. The horses were pretty "hot"! As I can see, the cross-country part (Silver Country Course) was really good! So, if you want to hold one show for the HEA, e-mail me with your name, e-mail and barn name! You'll only have to use the official classlist of the HEA and tally up all the points and send them to me for the top ten HEA challenge! That competition started in January with HEA January Show and now, it's still working with this show. In June, we will have the "season closer" and the top horses will receive great prizes. More infos later! But for now, here are the results of the HEA March Show!!!

*Comment/New Rule*

For now, I've seen some ponies entered in high level classes and I didn't say a thing. I know it's a SIM game, but ponies can't compete in the high levels, preliminary and higher. Why? Because they are ponies. A pony can't do CCI**, the drops are of 6'7"!! I'm really sorry, but it's not realistic and it's even dangerous to enter a 13.2 hands pony in that class! Also, I've seen lots of hunters entered here, hunters are being trained to have a round and collected canter, to jump low jumps and be elegant. Eventing is a rough division of horse riding. What I mean is that horses must be fast and powerful on the cross, elegant and good in dressage and after still have the energy to do a perfect course on the jumping part! I don't want to be mean, but hunters aren't "built" for that. I'm sure some of them can, but it's very hard on them. So, the minimum height for an advanced/international (CCI's) level competing horse should be of 15 hands, at least and then again, it's small. Oh yes, another comment on breeds, last time, there was some Draft horses entered. Come on, draft horses in eventing?! Next time, I'll be more strict on the rules or it's going to be so unrealistic! I really don't want to seem mean or to descriminate some horses, but in HB we are trying to have the more realistic possible, so this is why I'm saying this.

Thanks
