WOMBATS
There are 3 species of wombat that lives in Australia, and one also lives in Tasmania.
Wombats share with koalas the phenomenon of a backward opening pouch.
Wombats are strong, powerfully built marsupials, which superficially resemble badgers.
Wombats are strictly vegetarian.
