Danny...
Since Danny moved to her new home, she has been relishing her new sense of freedom. She can now frolick and play with two other mares on several acres of farmland.
This horse has got a mane that won't quit. I don't know how it happenned. It just kept growing and growing! And it's naturally wavy--no shampoo or conditioner, just mother nature.
Danny could only spare us a few nuzzles, as she was fully enthralled in gaining her winter layer of fat. She must have done some growing lately, because despite the serious grazing she's been doing, she looked thinner than the last time we saw her.

Since we have had such a hot summer, Danny's black spots have developed some red and purple highlights. I dyed my hair that same color purple once, and everyone kept saying that it just wasn't a color you'd find in nature. Well, hah! I've finally found that color in nature!
Yay! I finally managed to take a picture of Danny's face that show's her beautiful baby-doll profile. It's a good thing horses don't get conceited about their looks, or this one would have an ego the size of New York.
