 To pluck ear canal hair, grasp protruding hair with your fingers or a pair of tweezers and give a quick jerk. Hair in the ear canal usually comes out easily, and the plucking process does not seem to be painful if done properly and if the ear canal is not inflamed. Be careful not to tug on the hair just outside the ear canal--that hurts. Hair not easily removed by plucking may need to be clipped out. *********  Back to Main Page
