Karrel's Hope Chest

Take a peek into my hope chest & see what decorating projects
are swimming around in my mind. This is sort of my virtual treasure map*, dream sheet, whatever you want to call it.
1/1/99 The newest thing in my hopechest is this beautiful bedroom set! Soon I hope!
12/25/98 One thing I forgot to note in my hopechest that Jeff & I both wanted was a boat, but I stilled hoped for it and we got this beautiful boat for Christmas!
Let me tell you my deepest secret, my desire - to be able to return to school (full time) and finish my interior design degree. I plan to do a course in England - 3 yrs and get my Masters from that school! I am really excited.
What this page will consist of is items I find, as I hunt through
papers, magazines, books, you name it - for each project. Watch my progress &
see where it gets me. I will put a date next to each item I am hoping for on the day
I put it on the page & then on the day I get it (or something similar - nothing is
etched in stone!) and see what happens.
*I would like to tell you that the concept of
treasure mapping works and I have been using it for years now and have gotten EVERYTHING I
put on my map - including my gold convertible, my great husband, my house, my
refrigerator, dishwasher, and ON AND ON. Visualizing that you actually have these
items, that they are in place & use helps. When I was wanting my car I even put
a picture of the car I wanted on the steering wheel of my car I owned then. Within
one month of putting that picture on the steering wheel - I owned the car in the picture.
It works - try it.
Here is the main thing I want (after I wanted my convertible) - a Jacquzzi tub. And who knows I may even get it - although I doubt it will be the black one I want - but I don't feel like waiting or paying the extra when I can get the white one - right now! Okay guys - I got it - check it out!
I am thinking of doing my kitchen cabinets this color. (10/10/98) I am getting it going and have the taupe on the cabinets already and the walls - I wish you could see the color it is so cool, still need to work on the sliver. Check out my kitchen pages to see the latest. (1/1/99)
