Dragons in the Dark.
Shattered mirror, smoky vision,
Between the cracks
Icicles prodding,
Dragons tongues,
Flames licking
Against a broken dream.
Shadowed grimace
Across a dank space,
Human wreckage cowers,
Lest it be uncovered.
Open wounds.
The dragon lurks
Among the stained glass,
Lifts and groans,
Folds and broods.
Mildewed memories billow
Stingers quick to pierce,
Wound upon wound.
Stifled passions,
Crystals splash,
Shadows clash,
Crumbling walls,
Life's ashes drift up
Then fall flat.
