Jennifer CAPRIATI |
|
Jennifer Capriati had 5 million dollars in endorsements before she even played a match. She was a young prodigy, as she started her professional career at 13. Stefano and Denise Capriati, her parents exploited Jennifer as she played numerous tournaments and exhibitions. Her parents split up and by the age of 17 and she was burnt out. She was physically and mentally tired from the pressure she faced. She has had a successful career and has beaten all of the top players in the game.
Jennifer Capriati has had problems with the law in which she allegedly stole a ring late in '93. In 1994, she was arrested for the possession of drugs. She was also accused of striking her boyfriend in Paris. These problems can be contributed to her parents, as she would not had to deal with all the pressure that was put on her.
She was not as egotistical as Hingis at the same age. She seemed to shy away from the spotlight, which is a shame for the tennis tour, because she has very good tennis ability.
