to meet its quota of $7,000.00 for the pythian Appeal, with that

Pictures speak louder than words. There almost
isn't a night that goes by when we are not out in full force working
with our projects. We would like to leave the world a little better
place and such we would like to share with you some of our
activities.
The
Inter Service Club Council, Montreal, Quebec. Our lodge is very
active in collecting money for the Research into Children's Diseases.
During the month of October and November, we sell raffle tickets at
the local shopping centers for the benefit of this most worthy
charity. Here we see P.G.C. Issie Nadler, one of the five governors
of the Inter Service Club Council, and his wife Muriel Nadler at the
Cote St-Luc Shopping Center selling the raffles tickets. In the
background is the tracker that some lucky winner is driving this very
day.

we see our members participating in the annual Barbecue at the Taylor
Thebodeau Home for the intellectually challenged. Each home has six
residents that enjoy the friendship (and great food) that we bring
them. Turning the hot dogs are (left to right) P.S.R. Irving Segal,
P.G.C. Issie Nadler, P.G.C. Hy Sternfeld, Mrs. Muriel Nadler and P.C.
Morris Neim.
The boys are still turning the "dogs" this time
for the fifty intellectually challenged patients at the Douglas
Hospital in Verdun, Quebec. The experts chefs this time are (left to
right): P.C. Hy Nemetz, P.S.R. Irving Segal, P.C. Morris Neim and
P.G.C. Issie Nadler.
Cystic Fibrosis (Canada) is another project our
lodge highly believes that we can make a difference. During the year,
Lodge 42 and their selection of volunteers collect monies in
different shopping centers and then proceed to turn over their
collected donations to the representatives. Here we see P.G.C. Issie
Nadler and his wife Muriel Nadler at one of the Montreal region
shopping centers.
