Some 28 years ago, 10 Service Organization Groups in the Province of Quebec got together to do a most amazing thing.

Today, our Grand Chancellor, Brother Garry Safran is glad to report that the Knights of Pythias, Domain of Quebec was very well represented at the year's gala event which took place on December 4 and 5. Their participating function at this event was to be in charge of all monies collected on site, and to sell various items for fund raising with the "Telethon of Stars" logo. The total sum of 4.3 million dollars was raised. Proudly SIX governors, Sir Gerald Weinstein, Sir Michael Kutz, Hy Sternfeld, Gerry Safran, Issie Nadler, and Garry Stein represented us. There were also many Brothers and their wives in attendance, all helping out. All Pythians should take pride when they made the presentation to the Telethon of Stars on behalf of the Domain of Quebec in the amount of over $5.000.00 for this cause. many thanks to all those who participated at this noteworthy happening.

Pythians everywhere are proud of Sir Gerry Weinstein, PAST CHAIRMAN OF THE INTER SERVICE CLUB COUNCIL and our Pythian Governors, truly remarkable men, doing a remarkable job.
