Loses one of our greatest member
MEMBERSHIP:
The lifeblood of any organization is NEW MEMBERS.
We have so much to offer prospective members to the Knights of
Pythias: Service to our Community such as The Hospital of Hope,
Maimonides Hospital, which we visit every month - the Knights of
Pythias Cemetery Association for your peace of mind.
YOU MUST ASK your sons, sons-in-law, grandsons,
relatives and friends to join us in the good work we do. Carry a
Membership Application Form on your person at all times. Talk to
everyone to join us. You will be very much surprised when your
listeners ask you for more information.
HOSPITAL VISITS
Twice a month we visit Montreal Hospitals, the
Maimonides and the Jewish Hospital of Hope. The patients look forward
to our visits. Syracuse Lodge has never let them down.

Is anybody happier because you passed his
way?
Does anyone remember that you spoke to him
today?
The day is almost over, and its toiling time
is through;
Is there anyone to utter now a kindly word
of you?
Can you say tonight, in parting with the day
that's slipping fast,
That you helped a single brother of the many
that you passed?
Is a single heart rejoicing over you did or
said;
Does the man whose hopes were fading, now
with courage look ahead?
Did you waste the day, or lose it? Was it
well or sorely spent?
Did you leave a trail of kindness, or a scar
of discontent?
As you close your eyes in slumber, do You
think that G-d will say,
"You have earned one more tomorrow, by the
work you did today"?
