Eels are very good
swimmers. In most species , Eels are less than 1 m (3 ft) long. The females of
some species can grow to 1.2 m (4 ft). The conger eel can grow up to 3 m (9
ft)! Eels are found in waters as deep as 427 m (1,400 ft) when
breeding.
