Phra Mongkhon Ming Muang at Buddha Utthayan, one of the important and largest Buddha images of the Northeast

Phra Mongkhon Ming Muang and Buddha Utthayan (Buddhist Park) at Khao Dan Phra Bat, Amnat Charoen District, is about 79 kilometers from the city. It is located on the left-hand side of the road. Being a Buddhist sanctuary built amidst green trees, it houses Buddha image in the attitude of Subduring Mara decorated with gold mosaic tiles, designed by Chit Buabut cast in 1965. It is a very beautiful Buddha image in Man Wichai posture is surrounded by shrubs and bushes in the open air.
