    Katous was a fantastic male that has passed on many exciting qualities to his offspring.  Currently Midnight and Nyara are two of his kittens that will carry on his bloodline here at EmberGlo.   Katous is now being used by a fellow breeder with his foundation females.

    Katous has produced several excellent quality kittens, passing on his extreme color and contrast.

    Katous proved his showmanship in his first show as an adult on 3/20 to 3/21/99 at Desert Diamonds UFO cat show held in Phoenix, AZ.  He Championed in his first ring with a Best of Breed, and a BEST CAT final.  That was just the start of a wonderful show for Katous, he finished up Saturday with 2 Best Cats, a 5th Best and a 8th Best.  On Sunday he did just as well if not a bit better with 2 Best Cats, a 3rd Best, and a 4th Best.  He also was given The Best of the Best Rosetted for highest scoring cat of the show.  I am extremely proud of my boy, he finished the show only needing 4 more finals and 120 points away from his Silver Grand Championship.  Many chase that elusive best cat for months, Katous managed 4 of them in one weekend show.
