Introduction Index
To start off, EarthFirst! is an organization founded in 1979 to help combat the inactivity of the then present-day supposed "earth-conscious" organizations and create a more pro-active group founded in a grassroots organizational system and way of life.
We're new here on the EF! scene (December of 1998) since there hasn't been an active EF! group in South Florida for quite a while since EF!Everglades. We've got some rather pertinent issues down here (but where doesn't?), and have formed a group to contribute to the action in a bit more of a pro-active grassroots way than the local "eco-groups," which favor their anti-protest bylaws.
