B. gastonis-bonnieri. Hamet et Perr.

This bryophyllum is a very neat plant from Madagascar with pairs of opposite leaves. The leaves are very white-pruinous with purple blotches if grown in full sun. Adventitious plants also develop on the tips of old leaves on touching or close to the ground. I've not grown it to flower yet. It may be difficult to get it to flower given the consistently 12 hrs night/day here just 1º north of the equator.

Also see: B. unidentified. This plant is vegetatively very similar to B. gastonis-bonnieri. Could it be B. mortagei or B. suarezensis?
