This is another prostrate Bryophyllum, suitable for the hanging basket. It originates from highlands of central Madagascar (Massif Andringitra alt. ~2000 m). The leaves are oval-spatulate and very succulent. The flowers are red. Adventitious plantlets are produced in the inflorescence. K. pumila is another kalanchoe of a similar habit and needs a cool montane regime for successful cultivation.
