The kalanchoe in the photos is not the type species but K. lateritia var. zimbabwensis. As the epithet suggests, this kalanchoe is from Zimbabwee. It is distinguished from the type by having wider corolla lobes. A dense leafy shrub with round, densely hair covered, fresh green leaves.
