In the beginning, as told to me through guides during channelling sessions.
    In the beginning there was 'The One', alone in the multiuniverse.  And it was totally alone with its own thoughts and dreams for ages, although there really was not time as we know it, but this is a concept that we understand. After a while, 'The One' decided that it needed more of .........something. So it thought and pondered and thought some more and eventually decided that the only way to learn more was to send bits of itself out, further away than it could go, for it was fixed where it was.

    A few small pieces of the one were sent out, away from the Source of All Things, to experience, to create, to learn. These ones were very powerful, by our standards, for they were directly from the 'Source', and they moved out throughout the multiuniverse and the dimensional planes. The 'One' began to create other beings and things to fill the space around it and the small bits (we will call them angelic beings) moved out into these places and interacted with them and a balance was formed between them all, each looking after the other. But the one was on a roll and it saw what it had done and like it and decided to do more. Soon there was too much work for the first angelic beings and so more were created to help. This pattern continued for a very long time but then the creations of "the One' began to develop and new life began to form and all fitted into the 'pattern', the original 'plan' and each was dependant on the other for continued existance.

     A long time later, some of the 'angelic beings' stumbled into the physical third dimension and found that it was heavier but that it brought out in them things later called emotions. They enjoyed the sensations and stayed, and stayed. Keep in mind that these beings were not male or female at this time as we know it. They were really both or neither in one being. After dwelling here, in the third dimension for a long time, they began to change. They started to become male or female and the emotions that they felt became more intense. After much experimenting, to thoroughly examine these new sensations so they could report back, they eventually began to breed. These were the 'First Ones' that walked upon the earth.
Gradually their bodies became denser and denser and soon they were not able to travel back to 'the One' to pass over what they had learnt. They were trapped here.
When they realised this, they called to the "One" to help them home but by this time it was too late. The only way for them to return home to 'The One' was to raise their vibrations back to the level they were, before the changes caused by this dense dimension.
 
     For a time they were sad and they turned to their new emotional experiences for consolation, which only made matters worse. They became denser and denser.
Finally they realised what they were doing to themselves, and they began to make homes for themselves here and they began to turn back to the learning, beginning the long process of the return journey.  The place by this time was filled with creatures, great and small, things of our legends and the angelic beings who were no longer so angelic lived with these creatures and the process of evolution carried onwards, as they struggled to return......and so it goes on....ever upwards we strive.

Note: This is a lesson given to me and may not suit others. I do not wish to offend, simply give the story as given to me. Lessons come in many forms.
