The name Rom Klao School represents His Majesty the King's with that children in the remote areas have the same educational opportunity as children who live in the towns,
and that the military personnal responsible for their areas be given the chance to promote the education of the local population.Thus on October 31st. B.E. 2516 (A.D. 1972),
His Majesty the King accompanied by His Majesty the Queen, graciously presided over the opening ceremony of the first "Rom Klao" School, which was the result of a co-operative
undertaking between personnel of the Second Army Area and the people of Nong Khaen Village, Na Kae District, Nakhon Phanom Province. Funds from the Privy Purse were also used to help construct the
"Rom Klao" School of Nong Khaen Village.
