Andamans and Nicobars west to China, Philippines and Australia, south to South East Asia and the Sundas. Common resident throughout the lowlands of Borneo to 3000 feet. Size 4 inches, females duller and without any metallic colours. Found in gardens, cultivated areas, coastal scrub, mangroves and secondary forests. |
