Burma, Thailand, Malaya, the Greater Sundas, Philippines and Sulawesi. Common resident to 3000 feet. Size 14 cm. Seen singly or in pairs, and a regular member of bird waves. Found in coastal scrub, coconut plantations, gardens, mangroves and tall casuarinas along beaches but avoids dense forests. |
