From south Burma to Malaya, Sumatra, Borneo and Java. Common resident in old primary, secondary and kerangas forests to 4600 feet. Size 15 cm. Singly or in pairs, skulking in dense vegetation, usually on the ground or hopping about on low branches, often flicking and fanning its tail. |
