In most of S. E. Asia. Resident and locally common to 3400 feet. Size 10 to 11 cm, females duller. Seen in groups of five to ten birds, sometimes in gardens but more usually in moist valleys, open forest, scrub jungle and overhanging vegetation around forest clearings. |
