India, South East Asia and the Greater Sundas. The commonest spiderhunter throughout Borneo. Size 13.5 to 16.0 cm. Found in primary, peatswamp and secondary forests, forest clearings, scrub vegetation, mangroves and coastal scrub, up to 3700 feet but less common at higher altitudes. |
